Extraterrestrial bioforms—-like earthlings—-are what some biophysicists refer to as Complex Oscillating Biological Entities.  (COBEs)  There is a reason why some of these realms of oscilliation are…shall we say… complex.

However, where we are locked into 4 dimensions (three of space and one of time), the ETs are Transdimensional, Interdimensional and Multidimensional.

This simply means that they are capable of selecting a wide variety of wave-lengths upon which to interact and materialize. 

It is obvious that transdimensional entities with millions of years of unbroken memories, life experiences and the wisdom gained from living on worlds found on many different frequencies—-must carry out some very extreme translating in order to communicate with earth humans who are of highly limited dimensional experience.

Each one of us interprets the reality of the world we see and experience according to our particular individual point–of–view.  This is what we all do continually.   The ETs do also—-only their POV is often millions of years of unbroken memory and experience.  So, its easy to see how their repertoir of metaphores is considerably larger than ours?—-which is really quite puny in comparison.

This is why the representatives of ET civilzations must enact a considerable downstep in order to interact with us on the level of two–way  comunication in which both partys understand each other.—the ET COBEs are quite able to accomplish this skillfully because they are not strangers to the earthling’s consciousness—-but know us better than, in many cases, we know ourselves.   This is due to the fact that we live on a planet of forgetfulness and have aleady been existing in a state of only partial consciousness for a long time.

The ETs tell us that this depleted condition of our consciousness occurred thirteen thousand years ago after the self–destructive fall of Atlantis.

Some people claim to know the details of how and why this happened—-but everyone has their own vantage point, opinion and point–of–view—-so there seems to be at least a million stories and myths concerning it. 

And—-actually it really does not matter in the least how we got here—-but we do know that 1) we were not “victimized.”  2) we went into this forgetfulness willingly.  3)  inwardly we seemed to feel that—-in the final analysis—-something greatly edifying to Life itself would be gained for all the beings in the Universe by (what some call) an experiment.  

That sounds rather clinical to me.  However—- I do think the word experiment here has more depth than first meets the eye and an uncommon meaning as well.

Anyhow—-to sum this up: 

 The Principle of the Downstep is why and how communications must be stepped down in order to facilitate interaction between beings who exist in (and on) different frequencies of space and time than our own. 

For example:  we are four dimensional beings—-three dimensions of space—-one dimension of time.  A particular group of ETs may come from a world that has THREE dimensions of time and nine dimensions of space.  In order for them to talk with us—-they have to produce a downstepped facsmile of it in our world of one dimension of time and three dimensions of space.

So why in the world would the ETs even bother with us—-much less want to talk to us?

Answer:  For the same reason that two lost relatives run joyfully toward each other to embrace.  Do you get it? 

As linear time progresses we too will do as ETs are doing right now—-and we will do it for the very same reasons.

The big secret is this:

The ETs—-ARE US.  

Past—-present—-future—-linear time is about to end forever.  We are entering the era of holonomic thinking—-energetic interaction—-and the full consciousness of our cosmic interconnectivity.

This is a very good time to be alive.

While penning DOWNSTEP, I had continual help and input from my beloved wife SingingWolf  who is the best editor on planet earth and a very wise person when it comes to ideas that make the great and powerful archetypical stories of the dream-time.   I also had input from several wonderful Hobbits who took the time to read my original first draft, and write very constructive critiques.  I did use about 99% of their suggestions in my second draft.

I especially want to thank Michael, Allyson and all the Hobbits who each influenced this more than they know.   My deepest love and appreciation to them all.

It was completed in 2005, but has been undergoing refinement ever since.

Here’s something interesting:   I had already named Pheledra’s star-ship the  FIREFLY long before the excellent TV series by that name emerged.  It seems that  certain mental archetypes float around in the Information Field  and people intuitionally receive the same ideas without knowing anything at all about each other or ever hearing about one anothers work.  This has happened time and again throughout history.
